Forensic Pathologist, Julia de la Garza, M.D., provides autopsy services to families, legal firms, medical examiners, and coroners' offices. A large part of her medical practice involves consulting with families and attorneys and providing testimony in both criminal and civil proceedings. Dr. de la Garza’s expert services are requested throughout the United States.

Dr. de la Garza is an American Board of Pathology board-certified forensic pathologist practicing forensic medicine in Montgomery County, Pennsylvania, and CEO of Foresight Path LLC.

Dr. de la Garza trained in both anatomic and clinical Pathology at Mount Sinai Medical Center, New York, New York, and Jackson Memorial Hospital, Miami, Florida, and Immune (Transplant) Pathology at Jackson Memorial Hospital, Miami, Florida. Then, Dr. De la Garza trained as a forensic pathologist at the Miami Dade Medical Examiner’s Office from 2005-2006. She has consulted and testified in criminal and civil cases in Florida, New York, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania. Dr. de la Garza has been qualified as an expert witness in anatomic and forensic pathology. She has had subspecialty training in transplant pathology and has published and consulted on cases of medical malpractice and therapeutic complications. She has an extensive academic background and has taught hundreds upon hundreds of medical students. She routinely teaches and trains pathology assistants, medical students, doctors, law enforcement, and attorneys on forensic pathology and the medicolegal investigation of death, including proper death reporting and certification.

She has been the expert forensic witness for law schools and continuing Law education at Columbia University, Fordham University, Cardoso Law School, and Temple University.
